Williamtown RAAF Base
Completion of works to Building 77 RAAF Williamtown
1. 44WG recently commissioned the upgrade of the Conference Room in Building 77 to the level of SECRET. As this work has now been formally completed I wish to take this opportunity to pass, on behalf of Officer Commanding 44 Wing, thanks to all those involved in this upgrade for their professional and flexible approach to the requirements of Headquarters 44 Wing.
2. Particular mention should go to Mr. Glenn Hall from ASSET Services RAAF Base Williamtown. Glenn was a pleasure to do business with from the outset. From gathering quotes to his supervision of the builders through to the final inspection, the professional and courteous attitude he displayed is a credit to himself and ASSET Services.
3. A&K MacKay were the contractors utilised to carry out the construction work and I hope you can pass onto this company the thanks of Officer Commanding 44 Wing. During the time the company was undertaking these works the Base Alert Status was upgraded causing more than a little disruption to the work schedule. It was much appreciated by all involved that the employees from A&K MacKay were flexible enough in their approach to be able to work around our requirements and to allow the Headquarters to continue to function during this period of upheaval.
4. Once again ASSET Services has performed its function to an outstanding level and my personnel thanks goes out to all involved.
